@tomservo56954 Just another one of Life's many coincidences. Who'd ever think that Jefferson & Adams would die within hours of each other? And who'd ever think that a Muslim with the middle name Hussein would be elected President after 9/11? Anyway, my sister knew McLean when she worked at a company that handled money for the stars. She said that he & Milburn Stone were classy men. Doc gave her a set of Gunsmoke glassware. McLean always treated people with genuine respect.
@unclejuniorsoprano And Bowen was Col. Blake in the film version of M*A*S*H...interestingly, he and McLean Stevenson, the TV Blake, died within a day of each other.
Roger Bowen as Hamilton Majors Jr. was the bedrock of this wonderful series. Without him the series would never have gotten off the ground. "Arnie" helped to define the 1970s landscape. The 70s was a golden era. The Vietnam War ended & it was a time of partying. There were no GPS devices. The police weren't allowed to entrap you. John Lennon was still alive. "Arnie" was unique. Thanks for posting it & please post more if you have them.
