Could this ever be more obvious attempt at emotional manipulation? Oh and you might want to cite your sources but then relying on sources from as old as 34 years ago might not be conducive to your goal. Of course this ignores the fact there there exists no Constitutional authority for Federal funding or involvement in education but obviously not interested in facts. God forbid we ever have means based testing of programs - much easier to yell about the children.

Great video. Why can't the progressives and liberals communicate many issues on the national scale as simply as this video. The dialogue is so dominated by misdirection, obfuscation, racial fear, and lies. There is a total cost to society; it isn't just the immediate cost to the taxpayer or the company. We are so sliding down become 3rd world. Let''s challenge those selfish reactionaries and their bought blowhards.

Well done. This needs National Attn. Proud to be in WA State where you are moving forward to bring Real Results. Thanks for being a "cheer" leader!

Great video....the first five years are SO important...I just wish everyone knew that! I would much rather pay to secure early childhood education now than pay for a criminal to sit behind bars....not to mention how much better the world would be if we could change childrens' lives before they got to kindergarten.
Decades of research show that early childhood education has a high return on investment. You can read more about the research on our website under "Why Investments in Early Childhood Work". Longitudinal studies continue to publish results showing that at-risk young children enrolled in early childhood programs are better prepared for school than their peers, and that such programs save the government money on special education, criminal justice, and other costly social programs.
