The Golden Triangle is the largest store in the Midwest devoted to art, antiques and home furnishings from China and Southeast Asia, and is especially strong in British Colonial. The store also showcases select pieces from Europe. Highlights include Thai temple and residential architectural ornamentation, Qing Dynasty screens and lacquerware, and Han and Tang Dynasty pottery as well as Chinese Deco and contemporary Celadon and Bencharong ceramics, silks and hand carvings from salvaged woods.
Location: The Golden Triangle is located in the historic Reid Murdoch Center, just north of the Chicago River, one block east of the Merchandise Mart. The 23,000-square foot store occupies a full city block, from Clark Street on the East, to LaSalle Street on the West. The official entrance is at 330 N. Clark St., and there also is an entrance on LaSalle Street.
