This show exposes more than many of the Evel's fans would like to have known about him, but it's important to have it all out in the open so those following in his footsteps don't carry on with the same crap, lest they end up like he did in his last years.

Given Evel's health at the time, I can't really fault him for not wanting to go through every painful memory of his life with Hammond during this interview. No body is perfect, we all make mistakes and no one wants them thrown into your face non-stop. Interesting show and thanks for sharing this.

I imagine towards the end, Evel probably realized the effect that his stuntwork had on his family's nerves, and he probably regretted some of the choices he had made...particularly later when he was really feeling bad physically. I can't fault him for cutting interviews short if the pain was bad. I've heard negative things about his personality here or there, but extreme physical pain will change the way you talk and act. He pulled off some great stunts and that was his chosen path in life. RIP
