@ewener1000 I couldn't agree more. I am atheist but take the time to read the bible.. currently I'm reading it for the 3rd time....if I can take that time and not believe I think everyone who claims to believe should be required to read it before saying they believe it.

@bizeeyo It was a link to another video----that isn't a source. Anyone can say anything on a video---I want at least one website (but preferably 3) that has conducted a study to gather this information. See, I'm trying to see your side of the argument, that "more atheists have significantly more lifetime suicide attempts than those who consider themselves religious" because I find that very hard to believe.

Why should I fear something I won't at all feel or realize is happening? I honestly don't understand why so many people automatically assume that because I do not believe in an after life I have to fear it...I don't. My body will die and the energy that you call a soul will change into something else. The end.

@hayzerclon It is odd that statistically atheists have significantly more lifetime suicide attempts than those who consider themselves religious. You would think the people who believe in something way more awesome in the afterlife would want to get there sooner, where as the people who believe that everything just ends would never attempt suicide.
