Columbus Georgia Historical District

Collection of video clips I took walking and driving around the historical and older section of Columbus Georgia taken in April 2009. I lived here for a while a long time ago and was considering living here permanently at the time. That didn't happen but I will always have a lot of great old memories of the area. Had some good friends here. They were locals. Some areas have changed a lot. Some for the better. Some not. A lot has not changed. That's also great. I always experience a little dose of good old melancholy whenever I hear that Ray Charles song "Georgia". The state song. This part of Georgia will always hold a place in my heart.
