  • hey dude i saw ypu guys live with Wretched and bands NEVER inspire me at 1st sight. but for real man your voice is fucking badass and it inspired me at 1st time hearin t, its a voice ive always wanted to do, and im only good for deep death metal low growls and high pitches but i wanna wor on my singing and get good as you, any advice?

  • @adan921 I think that finding your range is an excellent way to start. Find a piano or keyboard and see what notes are easy to sing. It takes tons of practice and persistence. Always be honest with yourself, that way you can embrace your mistakes and fix them. I hope that little bit of insight helps!

  • Hey Mike,

I'm 15 and I love prog metal. I play the drums, guitar and I'm starting vocals.

Do you have any advice you could give for me to develop my voice as I grow older?

  • @HeavyDeath13 Right on! If you're just starting out you should find your natural range and get solid at that. As you get more comfortable you can expand your sound. Always challenge yourself enough to make progress, but don't overdo it.
