Judy Yawney - 2011 Realty Executive's Polar Dunk for Edmonton's Food Bank

Judy Yawney, Volunteer Coordinator at Edmonton's Food Bank takes her turn at the "Realty Executives Polar Plunge" in support of Edmonton's Food Bank.

Judy raised a VERY IMPRESSIVE amount nearing $2,000 which contributed significantly to the collective total of over $4,000 raised by all "polar bears".

As you'll see in the video, this event saw approximately 15 individuals, mainly realtors and staff of "Realty Executives" gather at noon on February 12, 2011 to get "dunked" into freezing cold water outdoors in the parking lot of the Royal Glenora Club in Edmonton, AB. The temperature was hardly "Polar", hovering just above freezing however event organizers dumped bags of ice cubes into the tank to provide added "excitement".

The proceeds of this event will go a long way towards helping Edmonton's Food Bank fulfil their mandate.
