funnny- I am going through a thing right now, with my waist-length hair.. and have (just about) decided to cut off 12 to 14 inches, to donate......

But, if I were as young as you, I would not have a problem with shaving my head. Back then (30 years ago) I did just that, and it was freeeing! So, I get it.
