Does it fit the whole TenkaraUSA holder that the rods come in or do I need to remove the rod from the Tube and only the bare rod fits? I have a Iwana on the way and just wondered as I like the looks of the tube it supposed to come in. tj

Don't bring the tube. I put my Iwana in there without it. You don't need the tube with the Ebira. It would just add unnecessary weight. Trust me, this system just plain works.  It's simple, light, and practical--just like Tenkara itself.

I was surprised at the cost of this product. Sixty dollars seems a bit high to me. I would have bought it for 30 without a second thought. Any thoughts out there?
