@chivaskyogre You can, but I generally don't feed my spiders wild caught bugs and things just in case they're carrying something. Not likely, but just a precaution.

Dam an I thought my Rosie was Evil. I got a Video of her eating a Mouse that's pretty kick ass. Should check it out. My Rosie killed and ate my Emp. Scorpion

OH she is very Hungry

Mine is nice. It probably thinks you are offering it food.

that is a completely jackass thing to do. I've owned a few Rose Hairs before. It was obvious she was hungry. stop poking the poor thing with tweezers.
-
She's just pissy, like "RARRRGHH FUCK YOU DON'T TOUCH ME." Nevertheless, even if they're risky to hold, I'd love to get a tarantula. They're entertaining to at least look at.

pepperspray your spider

Mine is a sweetie! I can curl her up inside my hand, she sits on my shoulder while I'm on FB, the 4 year old and other kids in the neighborhood love her and hold her. I will admit if I don't hold her often enough, she gets a little feisty.

@topsy420 I'm guessing you've never owned one in your life. I've only had mine for about a week and I can tell you that they have just as much personality as any dog does. It's not the same type of relationship though. Your dog will love you, I'm not sure a tarantula can even feel that. But the mutual respect is what makes them great pets. They're dangerous animals, just like us. I fear her bite and her urticating hair, but she fears my size and strength. It balances out.
