  • The are fuckin' nihilists,man.

They kept saying they didn't give a shit about the Oscars .

  • @jimmypopper Not everyone goes nuts, do push-ups or scream YOU LIKE ME when they win some of "hollywood award". I thought they gave the most genuine speeches of the evening , and I loved all of them. How can anyone hate the Coens is beyond me...

  • @jimmypopper Their not ungrateful they just don't care and it's funny

  • James McAvoy quoting Lord of the Rings. Perfection.

  • Do these guys ever express any emotion? No wonder they're directors and not actors. You just won a fucking oscar!!!!! They couldn't look less thrilled; ungrateful fucks. What a couple of dicks. Ethan couldn't come up with thanking the terrific cast or the author of the fucking novel they basically hard copied into a screenplay? How pathetic.

btw PTA deserved that screenwriting Oscar for There Will Be Blood. THE MOST overdue filmmaker next to Christopher Nolan working today.

  • What a stellar list of films.

  • This video cut out my favorite part! In the televised ceremony, as the five nominees were being listed off, it actually showed clips of all the writers in their homes, typing away furiously, hard at work. But then it got to the Coen brothers, who were, of course, taking a nap.

  • not a single fuck was given that day

  • They don't give a fuck. These two are hilarious.

  • It would have been nice if "The Diving Bell and the Butterfly" had won. That's one of my favorit movies of all time.
