How many of you have taken economics. Good. Then you SHOULD know that oil is on a WORLD market. Thus the companies drilling in America would sell the oil on the world market and the US gas prices would drop maybe 5 cents. Private corporations aren't going to just give to the US, there is no money in that when china is paying top dollar. And if you force them then your contradicting your idea of restrictions by the government. Please educate yourself before posting false facts.
