  • Yep. That's what I've been doing. And now I KINDA am taking classes. Really it's an exercise at the health and fitness center. :) But hey, I'm learning SOMETHING! Sooooo. Hopefully I can get better than GOOD from that. ;D

  • @Addicted2Muzic94 look for teaching videos.. you can almost always find them on hte belly dance costume site and on good ol' amazonDOTcom

  • I would LOVE to come to your classes.... buuut... I would have to come clear across Florida to do so :( I'm almost exactly across from you on the East Coast. DARN! I'm looking for some good teachers but I can't find anyone nearby. And with these gas prices; OUCH! traveling would DEFINITELY hurt our wallets! I REEEEALLY WANT TO LEARN! DX

  • Yes, I didn't mean it like that. They go by undertones too. It's whatever you feel comfortable with :)

  • That's not entirely accurate. I have light skin, and I can wear dark colours.

  • Added to playlist.

  • There are a lot of belly dancers that Ive seen that dont need glitter and beadwork. I know when belly dance first started out it was what you called in your video a "simple student costume", and everyone wore it not just students. Color is another thing, lighter tones stay with lighter tone costumes, and darker complexions can wear darker costumes. it all depends on what you feel comfortable with!
