A male White-cheeked Gibbon was born at Perth Zoo on 17 April 2011. His mother wasn't able to care for his at the start of his life so keepers are looking after him until he can be safely returned to her and the rest of the gibbon family.
Perth Zoo is part of a regional breeding program for this critically endangered species.
