THE UNITS - High Pressure Days (King & Hound Re-Edit) from the 2011 release "THE UNITS - CONNECTIONS" on the Opilec Music label out of Italy. The original song "High Pressure Days" was written by THE UNITS, Scott Ryser, and self-released in 1979 as part of a 4 song 7" EP called "UNITS", which according to the Wikipedia page about the band, may be the first example of a "synthpunk" record.
The song also appeared on The Units critically acclaimed album, Digital Stimulation, released in 1980, as the first New Wave album released by Howie Klein's fledgling 415 Records, considered to be the first North American record label devoted to New Wave music.
Years later, it was remixed and released by King & Hound (James Glass & DJ Garth) on the Golden Goose label in 2007.
The original version of the song was also released in 2009 (CD and vinyl) on the "History Of The Units" on the Community Library label.
Relish Recordings from Germany also released a 12" EP with 3 versions of the song in 2009, including remixes by Rory Phillips and Headman.
This slideshow/video was put together by THE UNITS founding member, Scott Ryser, in November 2011, as a tribute to the OCCUPY WALL STREET, OCCUPY OAKLAND demonstrations.
For several other remixes of the song, check out "The Units - Connections" on Opilec Music.
