@iputacapinurass i'm sure someone calculated that the ramp they made is the best for distance. otherwise it would probably not have been a world record. if you just put some plywood at 45 degrees, the car would lose a lot of speed on take off and the nose will pitch down badly giving you poor aerodynamics.

set the ramp to 45 degrees, thats the best angle to achieve maximum distance. Do some vector and trajectory calculations and you could have gotten a much larger record...

@KASSIDYPOLLARD bull crap, associated has some of the most durable R.C. cars ever made!!! I break waaaay less parts with my AE's than I do with traxxas, and any other manufacturer combined!
