Mon, 12 Dec 2010 - Highways Agency were inspecting the Porthmadog road crossings including the Britannia Bridge and Snowdon Street. A still, damp, cold day with very few people around, perfect day for getting a clear view of the train which was a top & tail (one loco either end of the train) consisting of Merddin Emrys and Vale of Ffestiniog

  • great video, thanks for uploading (btw the train was top & tailed - a double header is when both loco's are coupled together)

  • @Christopher125 I know :) I added the double header by mistake and only noticed after I uploaded it. Thanks for pointing it out.

  • Thanks, Brilliant editing, some sights I never thought I would see. street running and a narrow/standard diamond. Where is the last scene with chaloner? I am fascinated by the half buried tracks runninf off the main line
