In the game you control Sam the spaceman's Mooabuggy, and its up to you to get him to Fred's house.
The buggy will crash if you let it fall down a pothole, run over a mine, hit a rock or wall, or if the nasty aliens hit you with a missile.
You have 3 lives, extra lives are given if you reach Fred's house. Further instructions are given in the program. Good Luck!

I wrote this in a mixture of FORTH and Z80, and did all the graphics myself. I clearly had no life at the time.
For those interested, I went on to work at Microsoft in Seattle, and currently write iPhone Apps under the name "Craic Design" - which feels a LOT like writing Jupiter Ace games in my bedroom :-)

This looks quite impressive considering the hardware.

Love this vid!!! We have a game called Moon Patrol on the TI-99/4a (and on many other systems as well) and this is really really good!!! Best game for the Ace I've seen so far. :)
