That's probably because it has 10,000 Base damage...wouldn't be fair if you could just charge it up 25% and shoot it 4 times.

Do not shit on the firestorm. Yeah it's bad but makes the end of the Reaper IFF mission easy as hell. Especially if you researched most of the Heavy Weapon ammo upgrades and have the 800-950 ammo for it.

Blackstorm pretty much sucked... does very little damage u need lyk 7 shots of it to kill an YMIR mech at insanity difficulty =.= And the flamethrower sucks, seriously... Vorcha pyro could take out your shield in a second and u need lyk 2-3 seconds on insanity difficulty to take enemy shields out at close range =.=
