@xxMafia101 yeah, he "resigned" about 10 months ago
-
@OTKSenior He is gone? Thank God.

the 5 series is getting uglier and bigger. they are just killing it. i prefer the older designs. anyway since that sucker Chris Bangle is gone we might see some improvements. BMW must act fast before they become Mercedes' full-time bitch!
-
don't discriminate the CTS-V... it has the power and the guts to challenge and beat an M5... as an Euro car enthusiast, it hurts to say it but, I think Detroit might have the good recipe this time... Hope they don't lose it.
-
you lost me. you jumped from subject to subject.
are you talking about people buying foriegn and ruining our economy? because buying a Toyota, Nissan, or Honda here in the US wouldn't ruin the economy. considering ALL 3 manufacturers have US divisions and that the money spent on a any of those manufacturers here go straight to them, not the Japanese division.
-
...now that ain't nice...
...having built quite a few race cars from scratch, I learned enough that I am not in the least prejudiced against any manufacturer. But my statement stands.
And its not about nations, it's about taxes pal.
Brand loyalty is for spectators, such as yourself.
You pay 100% more for an American car in Japan, than you would here.
The fact that the US manufacturers are in business at all is a miracle.
Get a brain cell.

And second, the CTS may not have the interior materials of a Maserati but that doesn't mean it's cheap and disgusting. I don't even know how to respond to that because it is absolutely groundless.

God, I hate it when people try to sound smart and knowledgeable. But if something irritates me even more is somebody who does so by being overly critical of something.
First of all, it didn't take 100 to Detroit to catch up to the competition. Detroit wasn't playing catch-up with anyone during the '50s or the '60s. Just because it is just recently coming out of a really bad era doesn't mean things have always been bad.
