This lamb was born shortly before St Patricks day. He has a twin sister but his mother was a young and a bit silly and cannot count to more than one, so she wants only one lamb and chased this one away! We tried to adopt him onto other ewes but it did not work well.so we started bottle feeding him. He lives out in the field with all the other sheep and lambs and is starting to learn to eat grass.
The way they wag their tails is so adorable.

I think some other pergnant ewe had her momma instincts pushing into surface and managed to lick the lamb while the mother was popping out the other twin, resulting the lamb to smell "different" in the mother's nose and she count the lamb being unfamiliar. This is common thing in case ewe labours in the middle of flock (example in field) -but I think you knew this already if you have raised sheeps for longer time.
He looks like texel breed, am I correct?
