Caddo Lake, Texas -- tour on a Go-Devil boat

While back down in these parts, had to visit to my favorite lake!

Caddo Lake is the only natural lake of decent size in Texas--and most of it is actually in Louisiana! But Louisiana side doesn't seem to have as much of the nice-looking spanish moss hanging down from the cypress trees.

@SexyNazi133 If I were you, I'd bring a fishing pole and some waders!! Wow! What I think is so charming about Caddo Lake is the floating vegitation. Make the place really like ancient. im going there on a camping trip and canoeing... if you get to go, trust me its worth it. i live in dallas and its 4 hour ride..... dont wanna go but i have been told its so worth it!!!! :)

I live in Texas but not very near Caddo Lake.  I've always wanted to go there. I have this thing about swampland and cypress trees. The closest thing we have near Houston that is similar to Caddo Lake is Lake Charlotte. It's also a natural lake but not very big.

Ever since I was about 4 or 5 years old. I am now 19 years old so I guess it's been about 15 years. Billy and Dottie are the nicest and most down to earth people (not just saying this because I'm related!). Where do live when you're not going to caddo?

Bianca Ive grown up going out to caddo and actually have spent many nights in spatterdock and duckweed and all their cabins and know Billy and Dottie. Now im a member at the dallas hunting and fishing club and spend a lot of time out there. How long have you been going out there? Let me know!
