@DrPepperPope dont know if this helps 4 months later but figure out what sort of amp your gonna get first..and if your gonna run mids off the same amp..then look at subs within the power range your looking at running

as a general rule of thumb if poly-fil makes a sub think its enclosure is bigger that would mean that the bass would sound a little deeper and SQ would also sound a little better...

what a noob the isolation material is because the bass sound will stay in the box much better without it it wil push the bass sound out of the box faster from all sights so the quality will be less good so with the isolation the bass is deeper and just much better cause it will be pushed out not so fast so more pressure is build up : more pressure=more bass ...
