Digital recording has made things a whole lot more convenient because artists can easily scrap a bad take and redo it, right? WRONG! If you ask Gerard Barretto of Milquetoast Sounds, he'll tell you that this actually detracts from performance. That's why Gerard treats his Digidesign Digi 002 like it's an analog tape machine.

Convincing other musicians that they can't waste takes on a digital system? Easier said than done.
