Last summer I caught a 20 inch 5.5 pound beauty out of Middlefork Forest Preserve. The pond had a max depth of 9 feet. I had no idea it had a bass that size in it! It was the biggest I've caught round here.

the biggest bass ive got out of illinois was about a 17'' last weekend.

Sping Lake in McDonough Co. has bigger bass.

That last bass was nice. Biggest one ive pulled out of illinois was a 14" and that was nothing compared to yours :)

What area of Clinton are you fishing on that last bass? I don't recognize it. I only live 45 minutes from Clinton Lake.
