The snow started early morning of December 24, 2009 around 2:00 to 3:00 AM in Abilene, Texas. The video shows my front yard. The audio didn't turn out too good; because, there was a strong north wind.

My Lumix ZS3 carmera has a wind sound reduction feature, but I didn't have it enabled.

  • its been years since we had a snow like this. :) over here in Clyde we had up to 5 an a half foot drifts along the fences.

  • @79lance I think we must of had a four to six inch snow, but with the wind blowing snow all over the place, it was hard to come up with a consistent measure. I enjoyed the weather, and the moisture is always welcome.
