Kevin: ADOPTED?! Where the hell did you get that? *shocked*
Joe: I dont know. Dad makes me feel like Im not his son.
Kevin: Of course you are.
Joe: *silent*
Kevin: Dad is not the type of person that shows off his affection to others.
Joe: Yeah right. *rolls eyes*
Kevin: Oh come on Joe, you know dad loves you and cares for you. He just wants the best for you. He wants you to be happy.
Joe: He doesnt want me to be on the team.
Kevin: Then talk to him.
Joe: He will not listen.
Kevin: Just try Joe. *stands up*
Joe: *lays down on the bed*
Kevin: Goodnight Mr. Captain. *closes the door*

-- the next day --

*Nick and Demis house*
Nick: *runs downstairs while shouting* Demi were gonna be late. Hurry Up!
Demi: *sitting in the couch smiling* Good morning!
Nick: *shocked* Oh, hey. . . youre early.
Demi: *laughing* And youre late. *grabs nicks hand and goes out of the house* Come on.
Nick: *stops* Wait. Im hungry. I didnt eat breakfast. *about to go back*
Demi: *pulls Nicks arm* No. I brought you sandwiches. *gives him the sandwiches* Lets go. Were going to be late. *gets in the car*
Nick: *bites the sandwich and gets in the car*
*their mom is driving*

*after 15 minutes*
Demi: Were here! *excited* Bye mom! *gets out*
Nick: *gets out* Why are you so excited?
Demi: Its my first day in school. *smiles and walks*
[a/n: Demi was home schooled back in Geneva]
Nick: *follows her*
Selena: *wearing the blonde wig* *sees Demi and Nick* DEEMMII!! *walks to them*
Demi: SELENA! *hugs her and pulls away* Why are you still wearing that wig?
Selena: Where in America.
Demi: So?
Selena: I want to look like an American. I want to fit in.
Demi: *laughs* You dont need blonde wigs to fit in.
Nick: *watching them and trying to control his laugh*
Selena: Oh. . .
Demi: *whispers* Please remove that wig. People are staring at us. *smiles then looks at everyone*
Selena: *removes the wig*
Demi: Come on, we need to get our schedules. *walks with Selena*
Nick: *looking for Joe* Where is Joe?
Demi: *turns* Nicholas, come on!

*Joe driving*
Joe: *looks at his watch* Great! First day of school and Im late.

*with Selena, Demi and Nick*
Demi: *looking at her and Selenas schedule* We only have 3 classes together *sad*
Selena: *sad* I know.
Nick: *looking around for Joe*
Demi: Nicholas? *waves her hand in front of his face* Hello?
Nick: Huh?
Demi: Are you ok?
Nick: Joes not here.
Demi: Maybe hes in the office to get his schedule. Can I see yours?
Nick: *gives the paper*
Demi: You and Selena have the same classes. *smiles*
Nick: Really? *looks at his schedule*
*bell rings*
Demi: *hugs Selena*
Selena: *hugs Demi*
Demi: See you at lunch. *goes to her room*
Nick and Selena: *went to the opposite direction*

*after 5 mins*
Joe: *runs to the room*

*at the same time*
*Classroom*
Demi: *raises her hand* Can I go out? I forgot something.
Teacher: Hurry up. Well be starting our lesson.
Demi: *stands up and goes to the door*
Joe: *about to get in when. . .*
Demi: *pushes the door*
Joe: *hits his head on the door* Ouch! *slams on the floor*
