My bad for some of the lag in the video.

For the power supply get one that has a protective circuit in it. In other words if you draw too much power from it it will trip and it will reset in about 5 minutes or so when unplugged.

  • rofl :)

  • no i only used the rca jacks from a dvd player with a cd in it

  • just get one out of an old computer thats what i used

  • you need the green and other black one too so the the psu is grounded...look at the diagram and its all right there

  • then tie it to the one that corresponds with the green one on the chart...i.e. what ever is in the same spot as where the green would've been...honestly tho just experiment just don't electrocute yourself

  • is the clothes hanger required?

  • my amp got the blue screen of death

    what now??

  • dethklok awesome!!!

  • i have a 4 channel 2000 watt amp how many 12v amps do i need to make it work right i have like a 16 amp psu but not enough bass

  • if your amp as a 20 amp fuse in it you should be running a 20 amp or more power supply. when you crank it the power supply will kick out if its doesnt push as much amps. i run a 20 watt power supply on a 30 fuse amp and ive had it pop twice.

i took all the yellow wires and wound them together to use all the power sources from the supply same with black

  • I got it to work. my psu has a safety feature. it has to use both 12v and 5v for it to power my amp otherwise the psu will turn off. so I connected to my computer and used one of the extra cables that werent being used to power the amp and voila amp stayed on

  • i should

as long as your amp isnt big.

  • i have an 18amp psu. would that work for my amp?
