@jcaudill6921 I put Jordan as my #1 because of his speed, scoring, quickness and defense. But Bird did more than just shoot 3's better than Jordan. Bird got a lot more rebounds and was a better passer than Jordan. Bird had 69 triple doubles and played alot fewer games than Jordan. Bird was also very clutch - probably had more game winning shots than Jordan. Jordan could do things that nobody elsecould do but lets give Bird some respect - his overall game was better.

i miss the showtime Lakers Magic Kareem Worthy Coop and Byron and Company but Magic the greatest of all time with Jordan close behind my opinion. LA Lakers i love LA#1

@jcaudill6921 Bird was slow as molasses and was awful on defense. Jordan could do it all during the greatest era of the NBA. And what is this Jordan fans don't know about the 80s? Jordan was winning MVPs IN THE 80S!

@liveamovie Riiight cause all MJ ever did was jump from the free throw line. He was a deadly jump shooter, could maneuver his body to make an impossible shot, and the one thing you people forget to mention was how awesome he was on defense. He even won DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR and was first team All defense several years in his career and he was more clutch than Bird. The only thing Bird did better was at 3 pt shooting.

@jcaudill6921 yes there is cause they know basketball , most jordan fans DONT KNOW ABOUT the 80's . im 29 years old , ever since i was little i was PROGRAMMED to think jordan was the best until i seen REAL BASKETBALL PLAYERS . LARRY BIRD was the best i ever seen PERIOD . he had BASKETBALL SKILL that jordan didnt . if your teaching a kid the game you r never gonna say " today lets work on jumping from the free throw line" basketball is a SKILL game jordan had them but NOT LIKE THEM
