whatwhathwahwtt my insides exploded in the best way ever from this
-
@CinnamonWeaver "A tenth floor window took her home", actually.
-
unreal- best live act ive ever seen
-
@Threepwud actually i like it, but it's kind of too loud.

This IS one of my favourite songs but I'll be honest and say for the first half the guitartist ruined it! It sounded bloody awful with his stupid wailing over it. It didn't add anything to the song whatsoever but took away a great deal.

one of my favourite songs EVER...

Every time I hear this song I get chills...but this version almost brings tears of joy to my eyes :)

I agree with all superlatives about this majestic song - it's truly fantastic. However, it has been misquoted twice in the comments here. It should be ( line 7 & 8):
One friend especially I did make there
A ten floor window took her home
not (as written before):
(and friends especially, i didn't make them
a ten floor window to her home)
The correct lyrics make the song much stronger and better.!

anyone got a better quality version ? love this song

This is a vrey great song but the sound quality is really poor. Like all "of the proms" things its like the orchestra are playing in a giant bathroom.
One of the absolute best endings you'll ever hear :')

"Sit down my love of all good spaces / and breathe my love let's all be spent / I'm going to tell you both a story / about some memories that I dreamt / see I've lost love in many places / not least the streets of São Paulo and friends especially / I didn't make them / a ten floor window to her home / sometimes I could cry for miles / but I don't".
I live in São Paulo (Brazil). It's one of the most beautifull songs dedicated to this paradoxal but lovely and amazing city! Tks Guillemots!!!
