  • @loopitech Thank you for your input!

  • Yoga is for all as long as you have an open mind, have the willingness to learn and find a teacher or a few that you feel you connect with!

Hope you can all appreciate this video, be humble and learn from others...

There's lots of basic classes out there that will lead you to understand this...but you can't skip the work that takes to get here SAFELY.

    Cheers!

  • ...continuing my previous post.

The poses described in this video take a long time to be perform as beautifully as Neesha does. Does not mean you can't practice them, it just means it might take a while to practice them with the same easiness and steadiness as the instructor here. Yoga is more than 5000 years old. Is always important to learn from someone that knows more, understands the poses and the energetics of them.

  • Hi Neesha! Thank you so much for taking the time to teach and share your knowledge! I would like to answer to all the previous posted to clarify a few points. Yoga takes years and years of practice, introspection, dedication, patience, self awareness, studying and above all willingness to learn from others than know more than you. Yoga is NOT an exercise, the side effects are a tone body, sharp mind, great posture and deeper and better breathing. This video describes poses that take a long time

  • I think Yoga is really hokey. I tried it for a couple years and it did NOTHING for my muscle tone. I found it hard to concentrate and prefer vigorous exercise

  • @minimoongurll yes, you can! If you can not get it through my language use, find a teacher of Anusara Yoga to show you. When you are on all 4's, allow your arm bones to move into your shoulder sockets, your shoulder blades will move closer together the space between your shoulder blades gets soft. Your collarbones will widen and yes, your heart will move closer to the ground. Have someone show you, and you will get it, Good luck!

  • @neeshazollinger That makes almost no sense to me .. your heart can't move towards the earth physically..

  • @minimoongurll allow the space between your shoulder blades to descend to the ground with gravity. The skin and muscles of your upper back will melt toward your heart and your heart will move toward the earth.

  • @neeshazollinger How exactly do you soften the skin of your upper back?

  • @dannish2000 this is Anusara Yoga.
