This is one of the best recordings I've heard of the Toccata, Adagio and Fugue in C Major, so I thought I would upload it to see what everyone else thought.
These were written by Bach in 1708 in Weimar.
I hope you enjoy the music.
Be sure to listen to the Adagio and Fugue aswell.

  • I have some Franz Hauk, but I have never heard this recording before. Can you tell me which CD this is from?

  • Great, man, really. My favourite Bach is by Guillou, but this I love very much as well, it has a lot of movement and joy in itself. The organ is perfect. When do you post some Reger, I have your CD and that's the best interpretation ever. Vielen Dank.

Talking about Bach in accordion: years ago, a russian friend played in concert Bach's prelude and fughe in c major. It was a BIG accordion.

It was AMAZING. I will never forget. It was at the beggining of the concert and when he finished the fughe, the public stands up to making an ovation.

Of course it was not an organ, but great music in hands of a TRUE artist is always something special, even if it was not organ.

Sorry for my bad english :)
