yah it helps to meditate but in REAL life, following the instructions of the master , because you relax your mind body and soul and can react quicker. A little metaphor/simile : When you are ready for the fear , it doesn't scared you when it jumps out at you and you don't react. But when you're not ready,you react extremely fast. In essence , you have to NOT get ready and get loose , play without thinking don't think just do.
