  • Along with that brown sugar...I would add some molasses and some cherry brandy. I'm planing on making a cherry based BBQ sauce tomorrow to put on a whole flattened chicken....will be my first cherry BBQ sauce. Grand Marnier could possibly work too.

  • could throw it in a large ziplock freezer bag and take out all the air so the cherry coke covers every part of the meat.

  • Dr Pepper also makes a great overnight marinade for any rib or roast. But like I said I usually do an overnight soak as it tenderizes the meat(no need to boil as some people do). I'm gonna have to try cherry coke now.
