This guy Ace is an idiot. Maybe Ace if you didn't spend your time analyzing severely compressed and degraded video you might be able to see the plane!!!.
I have seen high quality video uncompressed and even with that the plane is difficult to spot in the sky when it is at distance. There is always a little bit of atmospheric haze that tends to blend the plane to the sky. It only looms much more to the foreground.

Steve Wright was actually a little too kind in granting Baker his 'maths'.
I actually took this video and plotted the planes movements (in After Effects) across the frame - extracting the zoom - and (surprisingly and counterintuitively) the plane would not have been seen in the wide shot at all.
