Alia by Jon Renau is a layered contemporary bob. This wig has a SmartLace™ front which gives you the most natural looking hairline available. No tape or glue needed! Plus the lace material is soft and will not irritate you skin. The monotop cap gives you freedom to style any way you want. Unlike the machine made caps, monofilament tops are hand sewn so the hair will lay in different directions for a more natural comfortable look. You can find it here http://www.wigsuperstore.com/store/JR5134!JR/Alia%3A+Lace+Front+Monotop+wig+b...

  • Is this wig as it comes from the package or has it been flat-ironed? Really enjoying your videos....thanks

  • @hairwegoagain2 Nope, no flat iron. Straight out of the box, and just combed out.

  • @hairwegoagain2 In my opinion I would have to give a slight edge to the Upstage. Simply because it has a hand-tied cap it is going to look a little more natural. However, the Alia looks very natural as well. I would say it comes down to which style you like best. I don't think you would be disappointed in either wig. Thanks for the kind words.

  • I give the edge to Alia. The Tru2Life fibers in the Upstage are of pretty poor quality. Although it is hand-tied, I feel the fibers on Alia will give you much longer wear.

  • @danagee Thanks for sharing, we really appreciate it.

  • I'm trying to decide between this wig or RW Upstage. Both seem to be similar in style. In your opinion, does one seem more realistic than the other? I'm new to wigs and have a few....some I like while others are disappointing. I'm rather self-conscious about wearing them, so I'm definitely looking for a realist look. I'm leaning towards RW Upstage but wondering if it's worth that extra money. Thanks so much for your help....you're doing an awesome job!
