  • I had 1 cat, not thousands. She was healthy and beautiful till age 7 when she started to get sick a few weeks after her annual shots. After 7 years of expensive, ineffectual veterinary medicine my darling died a painful death alone in an emergency veterinary hospital. One example is all I need. People, if you feel you must vaccinate, do it once, maybe twice, and then consider your pet set for life. When was your own last MMR? Do you get all your shots every year? Then why should Fluffy?

  • @pmodrat i feel sorry for ur dog! R.I.P. for her and hope u feel better. im researching about animal vaccines (only online tho) as well, and i do believe that whoever out there that's saying the more treatment the better is fishing for pet owners' money.

  • Thank you for getting the truth out over all of the FUD. We had a dog attacked by a neighbors rabid dog when I was a kid. They didn't believe in vaccines. All of our pets have been vaccinated (cats, ferrets and dogs) and all have lived long healthy lives. Vaccines save far more lives than are hurt by the vaccine.

  • A few cases per hundreds of thousands of vaccinations?

I would love to read the journal report that you are using as your source.

  • my dog died after 4in1 and rabies shot . Gums started bleeding and had internal bleeding. died at the vets office. I told the vet that she was having reactions to hart worm med. Broke out on the sides of her neck. But he filled her up with vaccines anyway. Next dog will have first round as a pup and no more. Go on line and look up vaccine dangers. I think most of the problems dogs are having is from over vaccination. And the vet just make more money from it anyway.
