so i was just wondering because i left my male in with the females for 3 days then took him out for 3 for the rest period then put him back in. I wrote everything down in my book when i put them together. i put them together 5-26-2011 so they should be almost 3 weeks pregnant. they are drinking alot of water i have to fill it up twice a day and feed them twice a day.

okay so i have a question how long until the female guinea pig shows that she is pregnant. and how long did you leave the male in with the female. i think my female guinea pigs are 2 1/2 weeks pregnant they are sligthlty showing but i can't tell. but the females don't really like me to much. I bought them from someone who just bought them for their son then their son lost interest and now i have them but i don't plan on getting rid of them forever they are mine until they pass away.

@thatlorigirl What a lovely guinea pig you have! And I'm glad they are all well :D
but how weird! My Guinea pig had two babies last summer and wasn't even as big as yours is there! Honestly, she was very small I'd often wonder if she was even pregnant sometimes :L
They were both healthy, a boy and a girl, the boy has gone now and the girl is pregnant (I think)!

@harmany281 shes pregnant. This comment was 3 moths ago. Did your guinea pig ever give birth?
Adia gave birth to one baby! We were expecting a huge litter and called the vet to let them know that we would probably be bringing in a whole herd of baby guineas, but Adia gave birth to just one small baby (which explains why she wasn't as fat as some get) who we have named Pancake. Adia and Pancake are both happy and healthy- Pancake just turned 1 year old. We could not be happier!
