2a) continued: when Misaki relates how his brother treats Usami/Usagi differently than Usami/Usagi treats him is just perfect! Also love the echo effect. You are a talented voice actor. Keep up the good work! :)
Absolutely love it! A few suggestions though: 1) work on your "yelling" synthesis. I understand why you wouldnt want to ACTUALLY yell, but few voice actors actually do. 2a) work on deepening the voice of Misaki. 2b)the first line "how do you that?" seems a bit to...feminine
The mic itself is $105.00 on amazon. For software, Audacity is pretty good and it's free open source software, so it's constantly being updated. Look up Voice Acting Alliance forum too for resources if you're wanting to dub stuff.
Yup yup. Yeah, having an acting/theater background helps (which makes sense) but like anything there's other ways to get from point A to B, it's just the acting/theater background the most threaded routes. I've heard/watched both there works. From Spike Spencer, most of it is from when he was doing voice acting in the late 90s. Christ Paton I looked up after someone mentioned sound like him, then realized I've watched stuff he's voice dubbed in before.
@musicfantasyfd Well to me VAing is a part time profession and usually the vetrans do other things on the side, like producing, direting, Teach acting and what not lol....personaly i dont have an acting backgorund but i do think of my self to be able to put on various voices and imaging what a character to sould like...Even though I am a chick, my VA idols are Chris Patton and Spike Spencer....(Both Awesome in Spriggan and Spike in Evangelion <3) if only i was a male lol
I use Audio-technica AT2020 usb too. It's a decent mic for the price, not the best but it does the job for the most part. I purchased it on Amazon.com. Ah lol. Well there's plenty of anime and visuals with that. Feel free to ask any other questions. If you need a male voice, I could probably lend my voice if you ever do a clip.
That's about right in regards to the voice acting market, a bit difficult and a lot of networking involved to break into it and have it be an individual's focused profession. Requires a lot of schedule flexibility and trial and error. Still, if it's something you wanna do, might as well go for it rather than thinking of the what ifs in the future ;D
@musicfantasyfd Also i have one VERY be question what you use to record such a dub? I wanna possibly give a shot but not this anime T^T i female orientated one xD
@musicfantasyfd Very ture, Also, I find that if i did go to America for voice acting, they usually choose vetrans or "friends of" vetrans, also being a woman its harder too....
