Notice Me ((Twenty-five; Don't forget me))

*A month later*
Avvie folded another one of Charlie's t-shirts and placed it gently in his suitcase.
"I don't know how I got roped into this. You should've been packed weeks ago."
"So I've been told....over and over again..." Charie wadded up another shirt and tossed it in the bag, Avvie sighed and picked it up and folded it.
"Could you try folding your clothes?" He tossed another shirt.
"Nope." She sighed.
"I wish you would."
"Well I'm not gonna." He threw a pair of jeans at her.
"Um...ow!"
"Don't whine." He walked into the bathroom. Avvie pressed one of the shirts against her nose and inhaled deeply, trying to take it all in. Boy, was she gonna miss him. His smell, his touch, his voice. Everything. He had become apart of her.
"You nervous?"
"Not really." He walked back into the room. "Are you nervous?"
"For you? Heck, yeah." He sat down beside her.
"And why is that?"
"You're Charlie King." She said sarcastically.
"What an excellent point."
"Aren't all points I make excellent?"
".....no.."
"Are too."
"Are not."
"Are too!"
"Are not!" Avvie rolled her eyes and pulled out a present from her purse.
"Ooooh! Whats that!"
"You'll find out when you finish packing."
"What! It'll take me weeks."
"Hm, then maybe you should've done it, I don't know, a few weeks ago, like you were told to do?" Charlie crossed his arms and stared at her. She stared back.
"Give it to me!" He lunged at her, but she dodged him and ran around the otherside of his bed.
"Betcha can't catch me!"
"Oh, yeah?" He ran around to where she was and grabbed her, she jumped up on the bed, and out of his arms.
"Ha!" He jumped up on it too, and grabbed her, holding her against him
tightly.
"Gotcha." She struggled to get out of his grasp, but only suceeded in sending them both tumbling off the bed.
"Look what you did you big dummy!" She propped herself up with her hands on either side of Charlie's face. He rolled his eyes, but kept both arms around her waist. He wanted to keep her there as long as he possibly could. He was so in love with her, even more than Amber. Far more. She was his everything. He was gonna miss her like life itself.
"I don't see how this is my fault. You were the one who refused to give me my present."
"I just wanted you to finish packing!"
"You know, it's funny."
"What is?"
"How we keep winding up in this position. It's like fate is trying to tell us something." She smirked.
"And whats it saying, Charlie?"
"That-"
"Well don't we look all warm and fuzzy.." Charlie craned his neck to see who was at the door. Kaya.
"Kaya....get out."
"Mom said your moving truck leaves in like 10 minutes." She stomped off.
"Uh oh.." Charlie turned to Avvie wide-eyed. "Start throwing everything into boxes!!!! Hurry!!!!" They quickly shoved the rest of his things into the remaining boxes and quickly carried them downstairs.
"Let me take those from you, beautiful." Tanner playfully winked at Avvie and took the boxes from her, setting them down in the truck. Charlie beamed at Tanner when he approached him.
"What sort of lovely compliment do I get?" He teased.
"Gimmie those, toad." Charlie's mouth dropped in pretend horror.
"Toad?! She gets beautiful and all I get is toad?! I excepted more from you Tanner." Tanner turned around and gave Charlie a good look.
"There's no way you're gonna survive college. No way."
"Gee thanks."
"Lets go, boy! We got a looooong drive ahead of us!" Mr. King called out from the front seat of the moving truck. Charlie hugged Tanner, and Kaya.
"Bye guys." His mom pulled him into a long, suffocating hug.
"I will miss you soooo much. I love you! Don't forget to call everyday!"
"Ok, mom! Love you too!" He stepped away from her and walked back over to where Avvie was.
"Here." She handed him his present. He held it up to his ear and shook
it.
"What is it?"
"Wait to open that until you get to college. Promise?"
"Fine, I promise." He looked at her and groaned softly. "Don't you start crying on me too!" She laughed and wiped her eyes and hugged him.
"I'm going to miss you so much, Charlie.." He pulled away, but kept his arms around her small waist.
"I'm to miss you too. I'm gonna miss you more than you can even comprehend." She tried choked down her tears, but a few leaked out.
"You are the most amazing thing that has ever happened to me, you know that?"
"Don't forget about me." He wrapped her back up in another hug.
"Never." His dad honked the horn, and Charlie pulled away. He gently wiped her tears away with his thumb and kissed her forhead.
"Bye."
"Bye, Charlie." She whispered. Avvie watched the truck drive away until she couldn't see it anymore. Then she climbed into her car and cried.
