I went to see Gene many times over the 40 years that he came over to England. He never gave one bad performance. We had our tickets in 2006 to see him at the "Phil" in Liverpool and I was devastated when he passed away a few days before he was due to appear. There is not a day I do not play his songs. Will always miss him.

Amen to that. Fabulous singer. Saw him live kin 1964 -brilliant. This song was written by the Rolling Stones Jagger and Richard and he was very friend;y with them.
This song is a good example of Pitney's exceptional voice. The most underrated vocalist of the 60's in my opinion.

He was an under-appreciated artist of his time. I'm impressed that he was so unique, and seemed always to go his own way, and after a lengthy career, by all accounts was just a decent guy and a great artist. Ya gotta admire that.
