  • Who even cares about the winning movie--all else ceased to matter when Cary Grant came on!

  • one of the most beautiful movies ever ! if you havent seen this on the big screen...find one !

  • @EricAKATheBelgianGuy And that was followed up by NBC -- which had the Oscars at the time -- filling the remaining time with a short film about pistols (boy, I'd LOVE to see that)!

  • I think this is overshadowed by the fact that the show ended twenty minutes early, and they did a weird dance ball to kill time.

  • "Again, 'Gigi'", indeed; it didn't lose a single award that night. It certainly deserved the visuals and technicals, but despite Leslie Caron's gorgeousness, I don't know if it's a great one...
