former red one pilots formed another display called the blades

Americans have a more gung-ho attitude reputation to flying. They have more crashes, military or civilian than most.

lol uve got the same dvd as me the Red Arrows experience? lol just changed the music

Also Hawks are a lot smaller than the F16's so the Red Arrows are working a lot harder to keep in close formation as the Hawks want to move around a lot more.

Oh its true. Its just that the thunderbirds fly F16s I believe which might have a computer or 2 aboard to enable a rather smoother flight. The Hawks of the Arrows are flown without computer assistance. I don't suppose its "easy" either and I should imagine the arrows pilots are in a blind panic, not "staying calm" at all (!!!)
Incredible skills are being shown here. But I see a work of beauty as well--It takes fantastic dedication to fly up to nine jets in formations, and have it all comes across as nicely as watching a ballet (the "bomb burst" being a prime example). Got to root for my T-Birds and Angels, but I'd drive across Texas to see the Arrows perform their magic!

your right yeah right, the blue angels and thunderbirds fly more advanced jets than the hawk trainers that the red arrows fly, which have no guidance systems or radar, so when the aircraft are in formation 4 ft apart the only thing which tells them where the other aircraft in the formation are is the pilots eyesight and skill. this along with the syncro pair, makes the red arrows the best display team in the world. as a pilot myself i tip my hat to them.
