Okay... before you guys slate the footage. WE KNOW THE TROOPS ARE WEARING THE WRONG HELMET AND WEBBING. These are test shots from last year before we bought the correct battle dress. The film has not been shot yet, and is currently still in pre production. This is a promotional video to get people interested and to let you all know that a film about CASSINGA is on its way.
So stay tuned.

Ek sien dat julle is die vreemde mense wat ons rond gesoek het, Yes I from SWAPO warriors, Kassinga was not an Army Base it was Refugee Camp for new comer’s who wanted to join the Liberation struggle. Just to correct u once that the music you r playing sounds Arabic, but it has nothing 2 do with the Boars border war or the Ovambo people in northern region.

I take it you will contact Col. Breytenbach and Gen Viljoen to get a realistic take on the Ops and avoid after-the-fact propaganda cliches.
Also keep in mind that infantry tactics displayed in Hollywood movies differ from those applied in 70's and 80's by the SADF. Paras are also aggressive troops, that move accordingly and display a combat-prone attitude. Don't want to be a wise arse on how to make movies, but I think it would be more pleasure to watch if it reflects the events accurately.

Don't you worry Pippingreen, that has all been taken care of. Spoken to Breytenbach, his Publisher (who was at CASSINGA) and many other para's who were involved including some of the company Co's like Tommie lamprecht. Still looking to get hold of many more, so if anyone knows any of the guys who were at CASSINGA, please help me get in touch with them.

Hey man... still in the pipeline. Trying to find investors to help push this thing through. Normally takes a while. =(
But its gonna happen. I promise you that. Script is done, actors are cast, pretty much most of preproduction is done. We just funding at the moment... =D
