@sotto2 It shouldn't be ....Sound Advice would have been......
Try to select water from still, clear water sources. Many microorganisms, particularly giardia, tend to sink in still water due to the weight of their shells; turbulence keeps them suspended.

Why exactly does the water need to be moving fast?

after it filters 20 gals water do u throw it away buy new one? or can u buy new filter for it?karen
-
@Frogger0neXx do the math... on the commercial it says it can filter up to 1600 liters
1600=about 423 gallons
aquamira according to the video lasts up to 20 gallons and costs $7
423/20= bout 21 aquamira frontier filters
21*7 =$147!!!!! nearly double the price of surviva pure.
i'd get the surviva pure. no need to constantly purchase those small tubes or charcol filters

@mdnw2007 yeah, but that thing cost about $76.00. This thing here is only $7.00.

So when you use all 20 gallons you have to throw it away?
dude, what is it supposed to filter? Did you get sick after you drank the water? Be honest please.
Is it supposed to filter bacteria like ecoli, parasites, and maybe viruses? Can you elaborate a little on this please.
Thanks for sharing. Im considering purchasing a couple for me and my family for our bug out bags.

@Origin305 - Thanks for watching, I didn't get sick which is pretty amazing considering the source. The frontier will filter out 99.9% of pathogens down to 2 microns, this includes Giardia and Cryptosporidium. This is great for bags and packs for day hikes or 72 hour kit. Thanks again - Bart
