The 7 News account of the journey to Mexico of Exit International member Don Flounders, dying of cancer, to obtain his "Peaceful Pill", the euthanasia drug Nembutal. He returned to Australia with the drug for himself and cancer sufferer Angy Belecciu who financed his trip. Both had their homes raided by Australian Federal police shortly after the news report screened in March 2008. Why is it we can show compassion for animals suffering but not for people who are suffering. Who is anyone to tell anyone else whether they can die or not?

The fact is the state owns your life because we really have a state religion that prohibits you from making your own decisions about your life.

@jismith1989 It really is according to where you are. In the Northern cities of course you would have more luck than in the interior. Since I posted my last comment, i have actually moved to Mexico, and it is really hit or miss as far as what language I have to speak. Closer to the border I speak English.

space mountain you are an imbecile,mexicans are not looking for ways to kill anyone,at least most of them are not.I am down there all the time, and as a "gringo" I am treated very well. My heart goes out to anyone who feels the need to end their life,
