what is winning a war?annihilating the other side? what have you gained then when you have destroyed a country/a people/ a race?
all the "winning side" can prove is their lack of humanity.
all i can do is hope one day we come to the conclusion that there must be a better way to deal with world problems than war destruction and death.
most ppl commenting here have never been close to a war (i know i havent) and so i praise zinn for being so open about his experiences as a soldier
