  • I'm just waiting for the day when EVERYTHING is bluetooth. The transfer rates with 3.0 almost makes this possible now.

Imagine having huge entertainment center with NO Wires! 70" OLCD, blueray, 9.1 surround, PC Webcam, digital cam, game controllers, ipod etc... all working together with no wires! Your friend has a video on his iphone that he wants to show you, just send the video to your TV and it plays along with the wireless speakers, all seamlessly. 100% convenience!!!

    I can't wait!!! #FTW

  • still slow

  • what about the new Bluetooth 4.0 ???

  • @mrPortableGeek I do write about my dreams from time to time actually. It helps with lucid dreaming :)

Your English is fine BTW :D

  • @janX9 write a book about your dreams =) you'll motivate the scientists

P.S.: sorry for my eng, if it's not okay

  • 2.1 won

  • Its bluetooth..... faster....WTF!?

  • @janX9 i know about the magnetic chargers but we will have to wait many years before they are powerful enough...

at the moment wireless speakers are useless.

  • @RandomDirectors Yes, but remember that they have developed wireless charging stations using magnetic energy. I know they work well for portable and small electronics, I'm not sure about larger things like TV's though.

Who knows, maybe one day they will be able to power a whole entertainment center.

Power cells have also been developed that will last a life time. Unfortunately they haven`t been made for public use. Just another example of major corporations stopping technology for a buck :(
