  • Nicely focused! Did you use a lazer collimator? Try this, take photos of the sun lit side of the moon, not the craters. Remember light exposes everything!! Use a 10 sec timer, you dont want a shake photo. Develope your photos with contrast, brighness, color, saturation etc, and watch the moons surface transform. Domes, tubes, large anomaly's and more. Capernicus crater is NOT a crater. Take the shots on a full moon, u will see! Keep in touch, I have alot more info...Again, great video!! Clear!

  • I give this Image of the Moon in July a 90% resolution image C.C.D. much more REALISTIC 8" Telescope Views than Webcam Disasters. The only reason I do NOT give the Video 100% or 98% is because the "Manual White Balance" has NOT been properly SET for the Moon. The Video has the Slight Pinkish Cast which can be corrected with your C.C.D. Hue Histogram Manual White Balance. The Moon is a variance of smoother Grayish-Silver White Gradation Colour Manual White Balance Cast NOT a Pinkish Cast!!

  • This is so cool, thanks for posting. Haven't had a scope in years, been thinking about an 8inch reflector.

  • how much did your telly cost you?

  • @fudge666master They are beauty spots, not battle scars :)

  • Poor moon has battle scars :(

  • bet you used a moon filter, i always blind my eyes without one

  • i love your scope.

  • I can't wait until I get my 8 inch Ritchey Chretien telescope. I'm going to be looking at the moon all night long with that thing.

  • damn thats awesome
